There are multiple trains between Delhi and Katra, including Vande Bharat and other long-distance services. The Government's railway information also lists services such as 22439 and 22477 between New Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra.
One current Vande Bharat schedule shows train 22439 departing New Delhi at 6:00 AM and reaching Katra at approximately 2:20 PM. It travels through major stations including Ambala, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Pathankot and Jammu Tawi.

The Shrine Board confirms that Jammu is connected with Delhi by air and that taxis are available from Jammu Airport for travellers going to Katra.
The road distance between Jammu and Katra is around 50 km.

After registration, each pilgrim receives an RFID-based Yatra Access Card.

After registration, you start towards Bhawan.
You can choose from the available route and travel options according to your needs.
The traditional route is the old track.
There is also the Tarakote Track, an important pedestrian route between Katra and Adhkuwari.
After the Adhkuwari section, pilgrims can use the old or alternate track towards Bhawan, depending on the current route arrangements.
The Shrine Board also provides facilities such as ponies, pithoos, palanquins, helicopter services and battery cars on applicable routes.
